Tryout Schedule
The tryout dates for Minnesota club teams intending to play any Top Tier, USA Elite Select, USSSA Local or Regional and National events is August 7, 2023 for 12U-18U. Please see our 10U Development page for more info on our 10U off-season program and tryouts.

The Waves is looking for talented softball players who are dedicated, hard working, and have a desire to develop their skills and play at the highest level. We will form teams at the 12U-18U levels for the 2023-24 season. Rosters will be formed by birth year (i.e. 2006, 2007); however, we reserve the right to place any player within their age eligibility based on skill and team needs. The number of teams formed will be dependent on available talent with ideal roster sizes at 12-13 players.

ALL players MUST complete the tryout registration form online before arrival.
Offers will be made within 72 hours. All players receiving and accepting an offer MUST complete the full registration and arrange for your initial program deposit to hold your spot. No refunds will be issued once payment is received.
FAQs
How many tryouts should I attend? Players only need to attend one tryout, but may be asked back for a second. We recommend that you attend your top choice(s) on the first day.
Is there a cost to attend tryouts? There is a $20.00 tryout fee for new players during registration. Current Waves players WILL NOT have to pay to tryout.
Will I hear back either way? Offers will be made within 72 hours. Players who are not selected will receive an email notification after all tryouts are completed.
Tryout Location
Tryouts will be held at The Ponds (field 1 & 2). There is some construction beginning on August 1st, so parking may be limited.
