2021-2022 Program Info coming soon! We will field competitive teams at 12U-18U. Tryouts are scheduled for the week of August 9th (14U and older), and 12U only will be held July 26th. Please mark your calendars!

2020-2021 Season Outline

The Waves is an elite softball program offering a year-round schedule of practices, skill development, and tournament play. Below is our outline for the upcoming season that runs from August 2020-July 2021.

Fall Program

  • August 24-October 31
  • Full practice schedule (2-3 per week)
  • 3 fall tournaments including:
    • Top Tier fall state
    • 2 out-of-state

Off-Season Training

  • November 1-February 28
  • Hitting at The Cages (weekly)
  • Defense & agility training at Dundas Dome (weekly)
  • 2 winter tournaments including:
    • Turkey Trot (November)
    • 1 out-of-state (Jan/Feb)
  • Pitching group lessons with Sara Moulton
  • Discounted membership at The Cages
  • Holiday break from December 10-January 1

Regular Season

  • May 17-August 1
  • Top Tier League games
  • Full practice schedule (2-3 per week)
  • 7-8 summer tournaments including:
    • 4-5 local Top Tier
    • 2-3 out-of-state
    • National tournament (PGF or USSSA)

Additional Information

  • Tournament information is subject to change based on availability, team needs, and organizational discretion
  • NO games/NO practices scheduled from March 1 to the end of high school season (3rd week of May)
  • Practices will be scheduled at the discretion of the respective team's head coach(es)
  • Fees will not be reduced for players who do not participate in off-season training

Program Costs

Registration fees include the fall, winter and summer program from August 2020-July 2021.

  • $2,800 per player
    • $400 non-refundable deposit due within 72 hours
    • 6 installment payments of $400 monthly (no payment due in December)
    • Includes 30 fundraising coupon cards that you can sell to recoup player costs
  • Uniform Costs
    • Uniform package: 2 jerseys, pants, socks, belt, and helmet (est. cost $250-300)
    • Fall jersey: 1 fall jersey (est. cost $60)
    • 3 uniforms total (2 summer, 1 fall)
  • Travel and lodging expenses are additional
  • Teams may participate in additional tournaments at the player's expense
